6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

The technology I've used are a cannon slr camera, adobe photoshop, computer and a macbook.


Using an slr camera was very helpful and has very good quality however for my double dread page i used a 16 mega pixel camera which left me with a decent outcome. At first the SLR was quiet hard to get the hang of but once I learnt how to use it, it was pretty straightforward. The manual focus on the camera was easier to use than the automatic focus as it took too long to take a picture. The flash on the slr made the whole surroundings behind the person look very dark.






I used photoshop to construct my magazine pages. This again was quiet hard to get the hang of but once I started clicking a few buttons I learnt different techniques. In photoshop I learnt to use blending tools like glows and textures. I then became aware of how the layers all work out and how to cut out the backgrounds.





I used various amount of fonts from the website called http://www.dafont.com this helped me to improve my magazines because these different fonts made my work look better and gave helped it to give it the certain genre look to it.
